New & Upgraded E-Resources

Credo Reference is a full-text online collection of reference books including dictionaries, encyclopedias, quotation books and biographies. DePaul’s subscription to Credo Reference has been recently upgraded from 100 e-reference books to approximately 500 titles in an effort to increase online access to basic reference information.

To find Credo Reference, search for it by name in the search box on the left side of the Libraries’ homepage.

Women’s Studies International has replaced the DePaul Libraries’ subscription to theContemporary Women’s Issues database allowing more robust search results on women’s and gender issues in the areas of sociology, history, political science and economy, public policy, international relations, arts and humanities, business and education.

Type: “Women’s Studies International” in the search box on the left side of the Libraries’ homepage, OR find the link on the Women’s and Gender Studies subject guide.

DePaul now provides online access to Scientific American, a premier journal on scientific discovery and technological innovation. A new Scientific American e-journal subscription and backfile has replaced the DePaul Libraries’ previous Scientific American Archives database subscription, now providing cover-to-cover PDF full-text content for both individual journal issue browsing, and keyword searching across all issues of the journal.

To find Scientific American search for it by name in the box on the left side of the Libraries’ homepage or click “Journal Articles” and type “Scientific American” then select “Nature Journals Online.”
