Give your brain a break and refuel with “Brian Fuel Week,” November 9-13, 2015!
The DePaul University Library has teamed up with the Office of Health Promotion and Wellness, Campus Recreation, Residential Education, Dining Services and the Office of Student Involvement to bring you a number of fun, relaxing, and healthy activities to help you destress before finals, including yoga, massage and coloring!
Stop by the John T. Richardson Library or Loop campus libraries all week to take a coloring break—we’ve got a great selection of coloring books, crayons and colored pencils at each campus.
Not into coloring? On Tuesday, November 10th, we’re hosting thirty minute yoga sessions in JTR 115 at 2:00pm and 4:00pm. You can also take advantage of ten-minute chair massages on Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30p-7:30pm. Chair massages and coloring will take place in the Haber Lounge area on the first floor.
You are also encouraged to make your own aromatherapy atomizer at the Ray on Wednesday at 4pm, practice meditation at noon on Thursday (also at the Ray) and finally hang out with your friends during DePaul After Dark’s game night, from 9:00am-11:00pm Thursday on the 2nd floor of the Student Center.
And, don’t forget: you can always “Unwind the Mind” with a book from our recreational reading collection once you are done with finals!
