To the cynic, Valentine’s Day is a Hallmark holiday meant to artificially express love through one’s wallet; the romantic chooses to view Valentine’s Day as an opportunity to celebrate love. The Data Librarian, however, sees the entire week as an occasion to highlight various topics related to data curation as well as issues surrounding data.
The DePaul University Library is pleased to announce our participation in Love Data Week, an annual social media campaign that seeks to “raise awareness and build a community to engage on topics related to research data management, sharing, preservation, reuse, and library-based research data services. We will share practical tips, resources, and stories to help researchers at any stage in their career use good data practices.”
This year, Love Data Week’s theme is Data Stories:
- Monday: Stories about data
- Tuesday: Telling stories with data
- Wednesday: Connected conversations
- Thursday: We are data
