We are pleased to announce the DePaul University Library will expand its services for our community this summer. Effective June 14, all floors of the John T. Richardson (JTR) Library will be open to current students, faculty and staff for individual study and computer use. Reservations will no longer be required and we are increasing our overall capacity. A current DePaul ID and display of #CampusClear will be required for entry. Hours will expand to include early evenings and Fridays at the John T. Richardson Library as follows:
- Monday-Thursday 9-7
- Friday 9-6
Open access to all floors will also allow students, faculty and staff the ability to browse or check out materials from our collections.
We will also be adding access to our microform readers on the second floor of the JTR Library and will resume full interlibrary loan service for all physical and digital materials for students, faculty and staff.
Additional services will be rolled out throughout the summer as we prepare to open our spaces for fall. Those include additional access and hours at our Loop Library, copying and printing services, reservations for in-person research in Special Collections and Archives, on-site research support, reservations for individual study rooms and circulation of print reserves and equipment. For up-to-date information, please see our COVID-19 and DePaul Library Services Guide. If you have any questions, we always encourage you to Ask A Librarian.
