Celebrate Banned Books Week with the DePaul University Library!
We’re excited to welcome City Lit Theater back to campus for a performance of Books on the Chopping Block, dramatic readings from the most frequently banned and challenged books of the last year. Q&A with the presenters will follow the performance.
Co-sponsored by the DePaul University Library and The Writing Center, this event will be held on Thursday, September 26 from 2-4 PM in the Richardson Library Room 400.
Banned Books Week is an annual event dedicated to raising awareness about book bans and challenges and celebrating our freedom to read. Also look for us on the 1st floor of the Richardson Library on Monday, September 23 from 11AM-3PM, where we’ll be making buttons and sharing more information about Banned Books Week!
