DePaul University Special Collections and Archives<\/a> has partnered with the Black Metropolis Research Consortium<\/a> (BMRC) to offer a paid summer internship opportunity for a DePaul student. This summer\u2019s internship will be remote, and care has been taken to design an engaging online experience with other interns, the host site\u2019s staff,\"BMRC<\/a> and BMRC staff and Board members.\u00a0 The internship program is specifically designed for students of color. The stipend is $3,000.<\/p>\n

Applications are due March 16, and additional information and instructions are on our website<\/a>. This opportunity is specifically for students of color (Black\/African American, American Indian\/Alaska Native, Asian, Hispanic\/Latinx, Native Hawaiian\/Other Pacific Islander descent, or multi-racial) and is designed to address the issue of underrepresentation of critically needed ethnic archivists within the archives profession.<\/p>\n
