The DePaul University community has persevered through the pandemic for an entire year. While we cannot be together to reflect on our time in an almost completely digital quarter, we can at least take a break during finals week for some much needed recreation.<\/span><\/p>\n Don\u2019t forget that the DePaul University Library has taken many <\/span>precautions and safety measures<\/span><\/a> to allow students to enter the building with limited access and we hope that you\u2019ve been able to utilize this service to study or to request library materials. Together, the university will celebrate <\/span>Brain Fuel Week<\/span><\/a> with games, puzzles, coloring, and other activities throughout the week. This is an important tradition leading up to finals for good reason! Study breaks help us unwind, de-stress, and re-focus.<\/span><\/p>\n Though we won\u2019t be spending long hours in the library preparing for finals this quarter, taking a moment to unwind is more important than ever. DePaul Library staff have put together a guide of resources for a virtual study break featuring art & music, movies, games, and more.<\/span><\/p>\n Need a break? Here are a few suggestions!<\/span><\/p>\n Tour a museum:<\/b><\/a> Even though some museums are opening up to the public again, you can still take the opportunity to virtually browse the collections of the Art Institute of Chicago and the Guggenheim, complete with high resolution images and even a simulated walking tour.<\/span><\/p>\n Watch a movie:<\/b><\/a> As a DePaul student, you have access to thousands of streaming videos through the library. Hundreds of feature films, recorded theatrical performances, and so many fantastic documentaries.<\/span><\/p>\n
