Did you know that you can check out video games, consoles, and even a VR gaming headset all at the DePaul University Library? Or that between the John T. Richardson Library and the Loop Library, we have over 500+ games in our collection ranging from the Nintendo 3DS to the PS5? Well now you do!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The DePaul University Library is happy to announce that the video games available at the JTR Library are now circulating and more easily browsable on the 1st Floor. For the past decade, the games were behind the Access Services Desk in the JTR Library, which prevented awareness of the collection. The Library Floor Map<\/a> has been updated to show where the video game shelves are now located by the Group Work Tables in the JTR Library. The video game collection at the Loop Library continues to be browsable near the library entrance.<\/p>\n

There is no cost to check out any of the available video games or consoles. The only limit for video game check out is 2 games at a time on one person\u2019s account. Games are checked out for 1 week, and consoles are checked out for 2 weeks. Any current DePaul student, staff, or faculty member can check out materials from these collections. Please bring the games you want to check out to the Access Services Desk, which is also where you can check out available video game consoles.<\/p>\n
