We neglect to acknowledge their unique human experiences and the effort behind their achievements. Therefore, in celebration of Black History Month, we invite you to take a few minutes to learn about nine critically-acclaimed, award-winning Black authors: Gayl Jones, Brendan Slocumb, Tara M. Stringfellow, Akwaeke Emezi, Rivers Solomon, Amber McBride, John Jennings, Jamila Rowser, and N. K.
