DePaul University Library\u2019s Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service allows students, faculty, and staff to borrow materials not available in our collection from other libraries worldwide at no cost. Check to see if it is available from one of our partner libraries in <\/i>I-Share<\/i><\/a> first.)\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n We\u2019re starting off the Winter Quarter with some exciting improvements to the ILL user experience.<\/p>\n We\u2019re excited to share these improvements with our community of researchers. \nILL now uses your DePaul BlueKey credentials for authentication. You\u2019ll no longer need to remember a separate username or password\u2026 account lock outs and password resets are a thing of the past.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
\nNext time you log-in to ILL, you\u2019ll notice a refreshed look and feel. You\u2019ll be able to see the status of your current requests directly from the home page and take advantage of an intuitive interface for placing new requests or viewing your request history.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
\nIf you find a record for a book or article in LibrarySearch using the Find an Item tool<\/a> or \u201cFind Full-Text @ DePaul\u201d button, you can submit your ILL request in seconds. Simply follow the prompt to log-in with your DePaul credentials, click on the \u201cRequest via Interlibrary Loan\u201d button, and Submit your request.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
\nLibrary staff are working behind the scenes to improve the ILL experience and reduce turnaround times across the board. We have implemented a series of automations that work around the clock to fill simple requests quickly and free up our staff to help you track down hard to find resources held by only a handful of research libraries. We are also diligently filling requests for our material from other libraries, allowing us to benefit from reciprocal express lending guarantees from other institutions and reduce costs to the University.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
