Faculty, are you looking to expose your students to authentic letters, documents, maps, historic publications, artifacts and other primary source materials?<\/p>\n

\"Document\"Special Collections and Archives<\/a> supports a myriad of different types of instruction sessions and activity-based exercises using our materials. We work with faculty from academic departments and programs to tailor every instruction session to meet the needs of the course topic and the research purpose whether it is working with underground publications and alternative culture or the history of the book. Our book collections span a wide variety of subject strengths over a 500-year time period and include book arts. In addition to the records of DePaul University and the Western Province of the Congregation of the Mission, the focus of our archive collections is in the areas of social justice, religion, womens organizations, Latino community groups, the Lincoln Park neighborhood associations, theater studies, and Chicago-related materials.
