She specifically wanted assistance finding book\u00a0reviews from the 1920\u2019s. The librarian first pointed out that the student could search for book reviews from the 1920\u2019s, but could also look for scholarly articles about these authors written from the 20\u2019s till today. For book reviews published in the 1920\u2019s, the library has a subscription to the (London)\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/library.depaul.edu\/CheckURL.aspx?address=http:\/\/infotrac.galegroup.com\/itweb\/depaul?db=TTDA\">Times Digital Archive (1785 \u2013 1985)<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/library.depaul.edu\/CheckURL.aspx?address=http:\/\/www.jstor.org\/search\/AdvancedSearch\">JSTOR<\/a>, and more resources listed on the guide:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/libguides.depaul.edu\/bookreviews\">Book Reviews: How To Find Them<\/a>. For scholarly\/peer-reviewed criticism on Woolf and Parker, the librarian suggested starting with the \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/library.depaul.edu\/CheckURL.aspx?address=http:\/\/search.ebscohost.com\/login.aspx?authtype=ip,uid&amp;profile=ehost&amp;defaultdb=mzh\">MLA International Bibliography<\/a>\u00a0for scholarly articles about each of these authors.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"unitRight insertImg size1of4\"><\/figure>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-696 size-full\" title=\"Displacing Place book cover\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/news.library.depaul.press\/full-text\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2014\/05\/displacing.jpg?resize=189%2C280&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"189\" height=\"280\" \/>A student needed information to support a thesis that cellphones are killing face to face communication and interactions. He was looking mostly for books, but hadn\u2019t been able to find anything. The librarian suggested searching for books with the subject heading: Wireless Communication Systems, and they were able to find the book:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/i-share.carli.illinois.edu\/dpu\/cgi-bin\/Pwebrecon.cgi?DB=local&amp;v1=1&amp;BBRecID=622075\">Displacing place : mobile communication in the twenty-first century<\/a>. The librarian cautioned that since the book was published in 2007, the material might be dated, even though the topic was appropriate.
