The librarian immediately suggested starting with the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/libguides.depaul.edu\/religiousstudies\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Religious Studies Research Guide<\/a>, and looking for articles in the\u00a0 ATLA Database, searching for Heyward, Carter as a subject heading. \u00a0They found 147 citations, including a few books. Then, since the student thought he needed a bit more, the librarian explained how to search additional databases in the EBSCO platform, and how to find the results in each of the different databases (Womens Studies International, Humanities Abstracts, etc.) in the facets on the left-hand side, at the bottom.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"insertImg size1of1\"><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"unitRight insertImg size1of4\"><\/figure>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-684\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/news.library.depaul.press\/full-text\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2014\/06\/smothers-200x300.jpg?resize=250%2C375\" alt=\"Dangerously Funny\" width=\"250\" height=\"375\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/news.library.depaul.press\/full-text\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2014\/06\/smothers.jpg?resize=200%2C300&amp;ssl=1 200w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/news.library.depaul.press\/full-text\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2014\/06\/smothers.jpg?resize=683%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 683w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/news.library.depaul.press\/full-text\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2014\/06\/smothers.jpg?w=948&amp;ssl=1 948w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 250px) 100vw, 250px\" \/>A student came into the library looking for information about the TV Show, The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour. \u00a0She had to find critical information about the show, reviews, as well as when it aired and what other shows were on the major networks at the same time. \u00a0Happily, one of our reference books:<em> The Complete Directory to Prime Time Network TV Shows<\/em> (1946-1980) (R791.45 B873C2) has all of the prime time TV schedules, by network for each year. \u00a0In 1967, The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour was up against the ABC Sunday Night Movie and Bonanza!
