This Friday, October 28, stop by room 314 of John T. Richardson Library between 11:30am and 2:00pm to enjoy tricks and treats from DePaul\u2019s collection of rare books. Items available to view in the reading room will include bone-chilling mystery magazines from the early 20th century, an 18th-century witchcraft trial transcript, 1950s <i>Addams Family<\/i> comics, and a fortune-telling book reportedly consulted by Napoleon Bonaparte.<\/p>\n<p>Special Collections staff will be on hand to answer questions about the materials. With many other surprises in store, you won\u2019t want to miss this fun walk through the scary side of history.
