{"id":4864,"date":"2017-01-30T14:39:31","date_gmt":"2017-01-30T20:39:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.library.depaul.press\/full-text\/?p=4864"},"modified":"2017-01-30T16:36:35","modified_gmt":"2017-01-30T22:36:35","slug":"hathitrust-visit-to-depaul","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.library.depaul.press\/full-text\/2017\/01\/30\/hathitrust-visit-to-depaul\/","title":{"rendered":"HathiTrust Visit to DePaul"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On February 1st, HathiTrust Executive Director <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lib.umich.edu\/users\/furlough\">Mike Furlough<\/a> will visit DePaul University to provide <a href=\"http:\/\/events.depaul.edu\/event\/hathitrust_and_your_university_an_update_for_2017#.WI-Tg31l0Zw\">an update<\/a> on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hathitrust.org\/\">HathiTrust Digital Library<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hathitrust.org\/htrc\">HathiTrust Research Center<\/a>, and ways in which DePaul students, faculty, and staff can benefit from our participation in HathiTrust.<\/p>\n<p>HathiTrust is a worldwide partnership of more than 100 libraries and research institutions \u201cworking to ensure that the cultural record is preserved and accessible long into the future.\u201d Launched in 2008, HathiTrust and its partners provide access to a collection of more than 7 million book titles and more than 400,000 serial titles.
