Beginning Fall Quarter 2017, the DePaul University Library will reduce its service hours at both the John T. Richardson Library (Lincoln Park Campus) and the Loop Library (Loop Campus).<\/p>\n

The regular schedule at the John T.\u00a0Richardson Library<\/a> will be:<\/p>\n

Monday through Thursday\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.<\/p>\n

The Richardson Library will remain open 24\/7<\/u> during parts of Study Week and Finals Week during the Fall, Winter, and Spring Quarters<\/strong>. Please visit the Library Hours<\/a> page for current library hours and any changes to the regular schedule.<\/p>\n

This modest reduction in service hours and other cost-cutting measures affecting library service are the result of the necessary re-alignment of the library budget required by the parameters of the university\u2019s FY18 budget.<\/p>\n

The library continues to provide 24\/7 access to digital content<\/a>, including full-text articles in over 60,000 electronic journals<\/a>, 275,000 e-books<\/a> and 115,000 digital media titles including streaming audio and video<\/a>. We also offer targeted assistance in academic disciplines through research guides<\/a> and online tutorials<\/a>. The Ask-a-Librarian<\/a> service is available during scheduled hours, and librarians are available for research consultations<\/a> and instruction<\/a>, by appointment.<\/p>\n
