Our new user experience, identified as &#8220;LibrarySearch&#8221; on our <a href=\"https:\/\/library.depaul.edu\/\">homepage<\/a>, will provide a more seamless discovery of our print materials, electronic journal articles, e-books and more in a single, easy-to-use interface. The new system will also enhance operational functions, including acquisitions, cataloging, fulfillment of purchases, e-resource management and more.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Features and enhancements include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Find more resources through a single search box<\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The new library default search combines a search of the library catalog plus full-text articles, e-books, and more. It\u2019s your one-stop tool for searching almost everything at DePaul!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>One login<\/strong><br \/>\nNo more logging in with multiple usernames. Now you can log in with your Campus Connect credentials to request library materials, renew items, and view your library account. <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since I-Share is integrated into the new system, requesting books from our partner libraries is even easier!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Less paper waste<\/strong><br \/>\nNew electronic notifications mean that you\u2019ll receive automatic library emails when you check out or return materials, when items are available for pick-up, and when library materials are due. No more wondering whether you returned an item, and you can simply search your email to find the title for that book you checked out last year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Additional enhancements include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A mobile-friendly interface<\/li>\n<li>Integrated systems for efficient management of e-resources<\/li>\n<li>Longer loan periods for some favorite non-book checkouts like headphones and chargers<\/li>\n<li>Easier access to I-Share resources due to shared system records and configurations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please note that any links you have saved that lead to WorldCat Discovery catalog records will need to be updated.
