New technology items are now available for loan at both the John T. Richardson Library and Loop Library. Following the update to the Loop Library study rooms to include media:scape collaboration tables, adapter cables are now available for checkout from the Loop Library Circulation Desk. These cables allow for connecting devices, including tablets and phones as well as laptops to our new media:scape collaboration tables, and these same cables can also be found in the Richardson Library. We have also added Apple Lightning cables and Android cables in case you forgot your cable and need to charge your device while at a computer and these are also available at both campuses.
Portable battery chargers are now available for checkout at both campuses. These portable chargers can be connected to Apple and Android devices and can provide a full charge to your device. Each battery pack comes with the necessary cable for your device. These portable battery chargers are available for 2-hour loans at both campuses and can be checked out with your DePaul ID.
Also available for loan are new Logitech HD 1080p webcams with built-in microphones. These high definition webcams are driverless, meaning they require no software or installation to operate, and can be used with any laptop, or desktop computer.
