The Road to Little DribblingThis month’s featured author from our Unwind the Mind: Popular Reading Collection is Bill Bryson, author most recently of The Road to Little Dribbling: Adventures of an American in Britain.

Bryson is known for humorous travel accounts like The Lost Continent: Travels in Small-town America and A Walk in the Woods: Rediscovering America on the Appalachian Trail.  He’s also written some very funny history and language books including The Mother Tongue: English & How It Got that Way.  His acclaimed book on the history of science, A Short History of Nearly Everything, won the Royal Society’s Aventis Prize as well as the Descartes Prize, the European Union’s highest literary award.
