This month’s featured book is The Book of Joy: Lasting Happiness in a Changing World by the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
Both Archbishop Desmond Tutu and the Dalai Lama are Nobel Peace Prize laureates who have spent their lives fighting against oppression. Their collaboration through this book celebrates the joy they find in life despite their own suffering, and the suffering they see in the world around us. They recount personal stories and share spiritual practices that create a foundation for happiness.
