The DePaul University Library subscribes to GrantForward, a database containing funding opportunites for research. Students and faculty can use GrantForward to find scholarships, internships, and grants as well as other forms of national and international financial support across academic disciplines including social sciences and humanities. The database includes over 9,000 funding sponsors, a number that is continually updated. Each funding opportunity is reviewed and analyzed before being added to the database.
Creating a personal profile in GrantFoward lets users customize automatic alerts for funding opportunities related to specific research interests. The profile can also serve as a networking tool, allowing funders and researchers with similar interests to find one another.
To get started with GrantForward, create an account using your DePaul email address. Once the account is created, you can save your searches and download the results into .csv, .pdf, or .txt format. You can also create alerts based on specific criteria so that you will be notified when new funding opportunities arise in your area. Stop into one of our Research Help Desks at either the John T. Richardson Library or Loop Library or contact your liaison librarian for help using this resource.
