DePaul University Library’s trial of NewspaperArchive.com is now live and open to all students, faculty and staff. Through this trial, DePaul University Library patrons have access to over 400 years of newspaper records until May 15, 2020.
What is it?
NewspaperArchive.com is the first commercial newspaper archive online, and its collection has grown to encompass 32 countries, all 50 states, and a quarter of a billion pages. Searchable by keyword, date, place, and title, NewspaperArchive.com allows users to read, save, and share historic articles from their voluminous archive of birth records, marriage records, obituaries, death records, arrest records, divorce records, murder cases, old photographs, genealogy, family history, and much more!
How do I access it?
DePaul University Library patrons can access NewspaperArchive.com through the A-Z database under the New/Trial Databases and Resources heading. We also welcome all users of this database to fill out the feedback form of their trial experience.
How long do I have access to this resource?
The trial started March 25, 2020, and the trial ends on May 15, 2020.
