Unwind the Mind with Daniel Levitin: Featured Book for May

organized mindOne of the most fascinating new books about brain science and how our minds work is this recent addition to our Unwind the Mind collection: The Organized Mind: Thinking Straight in the Age of Information Overload by Daniel J. Levitin.  Levitin is James McGill Professor of psychology and behavioral neuroscience at McGill University in Montreal.

In this book, Levitin discusses how to deal with information overload.   He describes how people with “organized” minds excel, and how readers can regain a sense of mastery over the way they organize their homes, workplaces, and lives.

Levitin has written several best-selling books, including: This Is Your Brain on Music: The Science of a Human Obsession (2006) and The World in Six Songs: How the Musical Brain Created Human Nature (2008).

Find: The Organized Mind: Thinking Straight in the Age of Information Overload in our Unwind the Mind Section of the Loop Library.
