In light of Mayor Lightfoot’s Stay-at-Home-Advisory urging Chicagoans “to stay at home in response to the rapid rise of COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations in the city…” and the recent announcement made by DePaul University administration announcing DePaul building closures and restrictions, the DePaul University Library will be physically closed now
The DePaul University Library will be closed Monday September 7 in recognition of Labor Day. Library users will continue to have access to digital content, including full-text articles, e-books and digital media titles including streaming audio and video. Research assistance will also remain available through online research guides and tutorials.
We’re excited to announce the book drops are now open for returns! Library staff have been allowed to enter the building and have checked in a backlog of books returned prior to their closure. Anyone who wishes to return items, may now do so. The Lincoln Park John T. Richardson
The DePaul University Library is excited to announce our new and improved library systems, which replaces the WorldCat Discovery search and back-end software, Voyager. Our new user experience, identified as “LibrarySearch” on our homepage, will provide a more seamless discovery of our print materials, electronic journal articles, e-books and more
